Our History
Africa Home Haven Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Samson Ghebremariam, a prominent scientist and leader within the global pharmaceutical industry. As a native of Ethiopia, he understands the struggle orphaned children face due to conflict, poverty, and disease. He has established this foundation in order to be part of the solution and as a way to give back to the community that raised him. Dr. Ghebremariam aims to leverage his advanced education and decade of experience in corporate America to work with various stakeholders in helping children in need.

As a founder and chairman of the foundation, Dr. Ghebremariam provides strategic direction and oversight. He works to ensuring the organization stays true to its mission and maintains financial stability. He officially represents the organization.

Mesfin Gobena
Executive Director
Dr. Gobena is responsible for the day-to-day operations and implementation of the organization's mission. He works closely with the Chairman to develop and execute strategic plans and oversee the organization's finances.
